Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with wonderful actor ADAM SCOTT!

This Rewind is from April 13th 2023, originally episode 243, which was a total delight and really cool glimpse at what makes Adam cinematically tick. Those who know Adam's work will not only know him from his more recent work in Severance, but his roles in Step Brothers, Parks & Recreation and Party Down – not to mention his extensive podcast history with Scott Aukerman including Comedy Bang Bang, U Talkin' U 2 2 Me, U Talkin' REM RE:ME, U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head - and so on - and yes the last three are all very real podcasts. Below is the original writeup:

    –––––––––––––––––––––––––

You may know Adam from his many many roles on so many of the shows you love, or from years of podcasting since the old days, or more immediately from the glorious Severance, but here's a perfect opportunity to get a listen to the person behind the roles. Hear about it all, from how he got into the whole thing, the points in the journey along the continuing path, and so much film goodness including some awesome bits that haven't been said before. You'll love it - enjoy!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with amazing actor HAROLD PERRINEAU!

    –––––––––––––––––––––––––

This one's such a goodie, not only of course for the reason that Harold is a proper acting treasure who's presence you will have known in a bunch of his filmography (scope the IMDB for more on that - Lost, Oz, more!), but also because - well, we'll leave it to you to find out. No spoilers. But it makes for a really exciting and fizzy one this week, as Harold handles the task in hand with excellent and of course, you get to hear so much about his on screen work and off screen life. A pure pleasure - one for your immediate enjoyment so listen with confidence!

LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With! A REWIND CLASSIC!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the excellent comic actor and performer HELÉNE YORKE!

This Rewind is from July 4th 2023, originally episode 255, a bright and breezy fun ride with Heléne on top form! Below is the original writeup:

    –––––––––––––––––––––––––

Hopefully you may know Helene from her stellar work in The Other Two, which is doing big business out there in the streaming world. Or perhaps you've become familiar with her through Masters Of Sex even... The IMDB list is large, so you've got a ton of entry points - but if this is your first encounter with the name, what a great place to start. Heléne is brilliant fun from the very start, and it's an episode for the books right here with tons of fun and riffs, and a nice balance of film and non-film to really crack the code on Heléne... Loads to enjoy, and you shall!

I've been enjoying Brett Goldstein's performance in Ted Lasso and was intrigued by his podcast.

An extra thrill was hearing that Edgar Wright liked The Ruins, a horror movie I worked on!

Interesting people discussing interesting movies!

I love this podcast. Brett Goldstein is funny and kind and sooooooo interesting. plus he's Roy Kent! I discovered films that I've never heard of and rediscovered films I had forgotten about. Take a listen. You won't regret it.

Brilliant podcast with a lovely host

The Fall (2006). The scene with the pills and later with the monkey. Full on ugly, cathartic, sobbing, hyperventilating tears. I had never even heard the name Lee Pace, and now every time I see him play an elf king or a blue Ronan, I feel like he's being wasted. (And this coming from someone who loves elf kings and the MCU.)

Love this podcast. It's delightful in all the ways the Office is not.

The movie that made me sob cry...
