About this listen
Father Joseph Martin - Feelings
A topic talk about emotions, alcoholism, and recovery.
Emotions are a thing we all have most of and know little about.
I'm going to talk not about love but the negative feelings; my message on them is a simple one: Handle them or they will handle you.
Use an Alanon or Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor; don't keep your problems to yourself, they get bigger when you do that.
What we focus on gets bigger, focus on negativity and unhappiness grows; focus on the good and beautiful in this world and happiness grows.

Wish I had this years ago!!
Father Joseph Martin presents practical teachings and stories related to recovery from alcoholism. I will b able to take much of what I have heard and apply it to my own life and emotional disturbances. Emotions are neither moral nor immoral he says. They are neither right nor wrong. It is how we respond to these emotions. Good to hear! Highly recommend. Be aware that some of what he says is a bit outdated in terms of women's progression in the world, but take what you need and leave the rest.
