I learned a lot
I learned a lot from this book, I listen to this book because my 17 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with adhd and was looking for some insight. This book shared simple tips to help with staying organized, handling money and many other things. It was easy to understand and I believe now I have tips to help my daughter or at least understand her, so she can feel less overwhelmed.

Embrace Your ADHD as a Superpower
This audiobook is an absolute game-changer for women with ADHD! Instead of focusing on the problems, it teaches you how to access the potential of your nonstandard brain. The practical strategies for creating adaptive routines, managing money, and designing your environment are so powerful. I also like that it points out embracing the emotional intensity of ADHD and leveraging it into profound relationships. Her own experience lends such depth and likability. If you are willing to no longer feel overwhelmed and really succeed, you need this book!

No more swimming against the current
Thriving Through Thought Publications and Amber Hudson have obviously worked hard and done their due diligence to create a title that hits the heart of the frenetic neural behavior associate with ADHD with calming and mindful tactics. You don’t have to “keep swimming upriver against the current” as the author says (not verbatim) and you can find periodic life rafts waiting for you so long as you know where to look. “You can find a few things for a few moments each day to help shut off your brain and recharge”–hearing this sentence narrated (also not verbatim) compassionately by Sarah Decker (great job!) was the moment during this lovely audio title where I really felt a huge wave of inspiration and hopefulness overcome me–one that KNEW I could thrive regardless of any condition so long as I listened to my body and mind and allowed myself frequent respite.

A must Read!
This book caught me caught my interest right from the start! After a late in life diagnosis of ADHD, this book has helped me understand more about myself and how my brain functions using a “different operating system” as Amber explains in her book.
Amber has lots of great tips and hacks in this book. The book is super easy to read and understand, and it held my attention.
She shares stories and real life experiences that have resonated with me personally. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! I loved the audible version with Sarah Decker reading and even purchased the hard copy to re-read and highlight lots of keys points!
I would definitely recommend this book! 10/10

This book is not just for women!
I'm so glad I read this book and did not avoid it because I am a man. This is a must-read for anyone in a relationship with someone who has ADHD and for anyone who works with or supervises people with ADHD. I learned so much about ADHD and the author's personal and research journey on how she embraced ADHD and made it a strength instead of trying to fight who she was. This is an excellent and informative book.
