I have a huge problem with overthinking. I find myself dealing with mental draining after the author pointed it out. I should be thinking about reflections because those at least get you somewhere versus replaying information without productivity. I never would have thought about giving myself a time limit for thinking, but it totally works. You can consider options without just allowing life to spiral you out of control. And yeah, we can solve a problem, or realize the situation is outside our control. I have never journaled anything, but it really does make everything more structured, you can see everything in front of you, breaking you from this loop that this audio covers. I love these steps, they worked for me while reduced my confusion. Just having the power to take action and anchoring yourself in the present means everything in the world. While you reframe your thoughts and actions using the authors advice, youll come back to reality and become aware, and laugh off the cost of overthinking because now youll soon regain your days and weeks back ready to have your personal power back.
