About this listen
Esther was the second oldest of six children that lived with an abusive relative at house number 623 in Washington, D.C. She rebelled against the mistreatment and vowed to escape the abuse at any cost. Her life took many unexpected and tragic turns as she tried to be free in her mind from what she experienced as a child in that house. Even as an adult the effects plagued her but her faith in God and His promises were unwavering. She told herself everyday “I am Queen Esther and God will take care of me.”
The purpose of this book is to honor the memory of my sister with a biography to fulfill her motto, “my living shall not be in not in vain if I can help somebody,” I pray the reader is encouraged to have faith in God as you read about the great faith of Esther even during very challenging times. I also share her outstanding artwork with the world through this book.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” - Hebrews 11:1
