Story
Nanovax was supposed to be our salvation. Death and disease, now obsolete. Until the terrorist attack. Fifteen cities in a single day. Again, they said Nanovax was the answer. The same technology meant to heal us could now be used, through an algorithm, to track us, to predict human behaviors...to thwart future terrorists. I'm Lieutenant Brian Goff. I received the first injection. It healed my wounds. I became the face of Nanovax. Then the algorithm identified me as a terrorist. Now, I'm fighting against the technology that once saved my life...and the government has my daughter.

The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. Story
From Dan Wells, author of the New York Times best-selling Partials Sequence, comes the first book in a new sci-fi-noir series. Los Angeles in 2050 is a city of open doors, as long as you have the right connections. That connection is a djinni - a smart device implanted right in a person's head. In a world where virtually everyone is online 24 hours a day, this connection is like oxygen - and a world like that presents plenty of opportunities for someone who knows how to manipulate it.

Story
On the first day, no one really noticed. All those babies wrapped in blue blankets - not a pink one in sight. On the third day, people were scared - a statistic-defying abundance of blue. Not just entire hospitals, not only entire countries, but the entire world. Boys. Only boys. Until Eve. The only girl born in 50 years. The savior of mankind. Kept protected, towering above a ruined world under a glass dome of safety until she is ready to renew the human race. But when the time comes to find a suitor...Eve doesn't only want safety and protection. She wants freedom.

Story
It has been two years since the Shift - when most technology stopped working, and the laws of physics changed. Humanity has been brought to its knees. Like other survivors, Noah Henson has heard rumors of the Aelves. Among other guesses, predatory aliens seem as good as any other theory for what caused the Shift. But for Noah, everything else takes second place to survival, sometimes even self-respect... or any sort of decency. Lawless, post-apocalypse America had forced Noah to make many difficult decisions, and he has never seemed to choose correctly.

Nice Close to the Series
What made the experience of listening to End Code the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed it but Book 3 lost a little steam from the very creative world building of Book 1. The action picked up but the overall theme stayed true...exploring the blurry lines between physical life and virtual life. Definitely think this writer has his best work in front of him.
What was one of the most memorable moments of End Code?
The narration was really good. Solid through the whole series.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
