Powerful story that all kids would love
Would you consider the audio edition of Encima Del Arco Iris to be better than the print version?
I have read and listened to this book. It's great both ways. Listening to it this way is tons of fun. Really a great luxury.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved them all. Gabe, Lep and Elita are wonderful characters. Full of life and sparkle!
What about John Martinez’s performance did you like?
He has a good way of telling a story. Not over the top. Really enjoyed this audiobook.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was easy to get into the story and hard to walk away.

On Top of the Rainbow is an adorable children's book. I love the creative writing style and bold storyline that is easy for kids to understand and escape into. There are magical characters that enter an adventure that is a whole lot of fun. This is a story about a little boy who runs away from home because he fears he is going to get scolded for something he did. There are lessons to be learned and good ones. Not only that but this is a very entertaining fantasy. There is so much heart in this tale but with learnable lessons that are easy to take in. This teaches such good values which makes Gabe’s story especially endearing. This is a great book for a boy or a girl.

Love this book!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This is a great book just to sit down and read with your kids or have them read to each other. I am so ready for me and my granddaughter to read this together.

Delightful story that adults will also enjoy
Would you listen to Encima Del Arco Iris again? Why?
Yes. The author does an excellent job in conveying family values, detailing a crucial lesson to teach a young impressionable mind

Books by Esphyr Slobodkina come to mind. Not just for children, these books are entertaining as they are informative and a delight to read.
What does John Martinez bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Mr. Martinez brings the characters to life. He is not simply reading the words, he is living them.
