About this listen
JOIN THE MULTI-AWARD-WINNING EARTHLINGS WORLD
Peridot has lived a sheltered life. Raised by an overprotective mother on a remote island, the ways of the world remain a mystery, until the arrival of a young boy Euan, and she finally learns the truth. Peridot and her family are magick-born. Not magic from stories and fables but real magick from the days of old. The ability to control earth, air, fire, water and spirit. Leaving the safety of her home, Peridot discovers a world unlike any she could have fathomed possible. Humanity is enslaved, a cruel dictator rules the land, and an uprising is on the horizon. Peridot's magick may be the helping hand needed to save humanity from their doomed fate if she can only learn how to control her gifts in time.
Within Peridot's grasp is the chance to save the world, and earth knows, the world needs saving.

I fell in love with this book all over again!
“Every creature that inhabits the earth is an Earthling”
this trilogy is so good! And it gets better with every chapter and every next book has more and more magic and tears and brave humans and animals and lots of angry Chickens 🐔
"Now it’s all gone to hell, because this one chicken can’t get over the past, and wants me dead."
When a talking and hateful chicken named Alan comes after you, you'll be scared too, especially listening to the narration made him more real and scary, maybe even a little bit comical, but you can't always laugh when a chicken is trying to kill you. That's how this book starts, one of the main characters is chased to the edge by some chickens and they really want to peck him and make him suffer, we do learn a lot about the world where that all makes sense and you can even root for some of the animals because they are just so lovable. Not Alan though, he's not some cute chick.
I fell in love with this book all over again just by listening to the audiobook, it refreshed my memory about some details that I have forgotten since I first read it and made me chuckle and tear up again from the nostalgia. It's just so good! I loved how inner elemental voices were narrated!
I recommend this audiobook to all the earthlings.

Loved the narrator
This audio book was so good. I really enjoyed listening and having everything come to life.. I really thought when I read the prologue I wasn't gonna like this book.
I mean the world as we know has been changed forever. I mean the humans are no more and could be one extinct like the dinosaurs I mean can you imagine living in a world like that ?? How weird !!! I mean then you have this island and it's got a witch that could essentially help the earth !! Also so weird but yet so cool. I mean this book really makes you think !!!
I loved that this book shined a light on animal cruelty.
Wow makes you think. This was a really good audio book and I loved how I could picture it all so much more listening to this. I loved that the narrators In this too how good did they do ?! So so good !!!
Definitely not something I would have picked up on my own. Highly recommend this audio book!!
