About this listen

Dungeon Wars have ended. Peace reigns across DCO...for a moment.

With the creation of his fourth floor to focus on and his burgeoning relationship with Rue to enjoy, James is ready to simply immerse himself in everything that DCO has to offer. With his players now able to take to the seas, there is a whole new set of mechanics to explore. Not to mention another set of random mobs, each more ridiculous and terrifying than the last. I mean who doesn’t want to see a zombie megalodon summon a tornado full of undead sharks?

And, as DCO grows, so, too, does its impact on the world. With new Dungeon Gates that allow travel between dungeons, the economic impact of the game has increased tenfold.

But where there is wealth, there are those who wish to take it.

James is about to learn that the real world is a lot more sinister than the virtual one.

Cyb3Ru5 is coming.

Pretty good but there’s a problem

Great book! Except … for … the …romance😭 I almost wanted to stop and delete this every time there was some kind of intimate situation between the mc and rue.

Great continuation of the series

I like that we got to see more of what was happening in the world. The author also did a good job of keeping the stakes high enough to make me care about the outcome. I hope we get more details on the experiment in the next book. He has built it up so much it had better be good! haha

The shenanigans continue

The whole gang is back for more. I love James and Rue, but the Knights are my kind of people. Always fun hearing the crazy scenarios they get themselves into and how they react. Can’t wait for book 4

More! I Need More!

I absolutely love this adventure. Was great the first time on RR and is still great the second time on Audible.

I think my major pull to this adventure is the snarky sass paired with a good story and lots of details.

The spicy 3rd edition

James has a wild ride he would have never anticipated. While still filled to the brim with pop culture references, video game references, and more. DCO online is to date one of my favorite dungeon core novels.

overall good book

I personally liked the first to better and I feel rue and the game itself were kinda secondary in this plus u cant go teasing predator. overall good book but would have liked it more if it was more about the game than the government conspiracy tho the edding worth it hope the next book doesn't take to long Whissper_119

chekhov's gun 3

Ok so if you got to this point you in for the long haul.

Simple spoiler free review. It still has more funny parts and raises the threat to the man character and keeps adding to the foreshadowing of the first book and confirms some things hinted back in book 1.

SPOILER WARNING AHEAD.
Ok so the story picks up right where book 2 left off and finally confirms that the pixie is a real girl in very tragic circumstances. From their the relationships grows. Our villain from the first book has his moments but that's it moments, he also pays a price worse then death and maybe only gets his sanity back at his last moment of free will. the new villains of the book are ok. A bit fast (though every character seems to move fast outside of there pods for some reason) though I wonder if they will come back in book 4 or if they are done here. All in all the book is great. it's a bit rough around the edges but that's me being picky about the fact they have 9 days in the pod and only 15 hours in the real world. if you over think it, it might get annoying since the books takes place over the course of 4 to 6 real world days.
