I loved this story!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story!!!

I feel like I have been eagerly awaiting this story since Baden’s book when Brienne and Drake met for the first time and the fireworks flew.

The book begins with Brienne going to see Drake once the first season after the plane crash is over, to try to convince him to join the Titans. From the second they see each other they each realize that there is a big attraction between them, but an owner and a player would cause some waves on the team and in the media, especially after the flash allegations made by Drakes ex wife during their divorce.

It takes very little time for Drake and Brienne to stop fighting their attraction, but having a secret relationship that is being hidden from 3 adorably rambunctious boys, teammates, coaches and the media proves to be a challenge that may be too tough to overcome.

I had the pleasure of listening to this story. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell did a fantastic job of narrating this story.

My favourite Titan

I think I must love each of the Pittsburg Titans each a little more with every book. Drake is no exception. He has zero f*!ks to give and takes what he wants but as simple as that sounds this book is far from a cut and dry hockey romance. A single Dad, hot as hell and he wants the owner of his hockey team. Such a steamy and emotionally charged listen. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell brought this book to life.

Drake and Brienne.

We are up to book number five in the series and I’m still enjoying each of these couples stories and HEA’s. There hasn’t been much said about Drake McGinn in the previous books just that he was burnt by the organization as well as his ex wife and he is a little or more so he’s a lot bitter about it all because he left the league to raise his three sons. The new owner of the Titans, Brienne Norcross knows that the best chance she has of winning a Cup in her brother’s honor is to build the most amazing team possible and that includes goalie Drake. So she needs to eat humble pie over a question she asked him that did not sit well with Drake. These two are fiery and sparks fly left, right and center!

Their interactions start out as just a hook up, nothing but dirty talking, fast and steamy times and that’s all they both want. No relationship, only bedroom buddies when the time permits with their busy schedules. As always, the more time they spend together, feelings get involved and now it’s getting intense between them. It takes some time to navigate running an empire, playing professional hockey and raising three boys but they do eventually realize they are better together than apart. Whether you read it as part of the series, or as a standalone novel, it’s one not to be missed.

As is with most audio books, the story is so much better because it feels like it’s come to life. Aiden Snow was the perfect choice for Drake, he got the gruff and domination emotions right just. Same goes for Maxine Mitchell - she had a great business voice but also could switch it up with secondary characters or more emotional scenes. I couldn’t stop listening.

Another Titan falls

Drake has been burned by the media and the hockey world believing his ex-wife's lies about him. Brienne is the owner of the Titans and personally has tried to recruit him as the team goalie. Both have walls but their attraction to each other breaks down the walls. I thought this was a wonderful book. I certainly hope there are more to come. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell really bring the story to life.

Drake

This series just keeps getting better! Drake McGinn was betrayed not only by his ex-wife but also his former team. When the Titans come for him to join their team as their newest goalie he turns them down. Now the Titans are embarking on a new year and they need a goalie and Brienne Norcross, the owner of the team, goes right to his own to ask him again and she is not taking no for an answer. Giving him an ultimatum, will he agree? Where there are sparks there is usually fire and these two sure do put off some sparks. The dirty-talking single dad and the workaholic billionaire owner, you wouldn't think these two would get along but they are a match made in heaven or between the sheets or desktop or wherever they come together. Perfection! I cannot wait for more of this series! I not only fell in love with this couple but those three little boys!

Drake for the win, by far my favorite of the series. Drake has been through the ringer, given a second chance and he takes it. Brienne has has struggles herself, and is a workaholic. as the two become closer and Drake teaches Brienne how to live outside work a beautiful live story emerges.

Entertaining series!

Narrators do a great job! The male narrator has a nice gruff voice, and the female narrator has a nice tone too. Didn’t totally love her male voice, but overall, the listening experience was great!

I’ve been looking forward to getting Brienne’s story! She had to take over running the hockey team when her brother was one of the ones that died in the plane crash. In this book, she does what she can to get Drake as a goalie for her hockey team, but she didn’t give him the best impression of her when they first met. Luckily, Brienne is awesome and Drake starts to see that. Drake is a single father of 3 boys and has a drug addict ex-wife that likes to cause problems. Not my favorite scenarios to read about, but I did like Drake. There is a nice, steamy chemistry between Brienne and Drake as they try to be professional and deny the pull between them. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

I have loved everything about this series. The sadness and loss coupled with the healing and love, then add in HOCKEY PLAYERS. More please. Drake and Brienne's story was one I was really hoping would be a favorite and it was!

Drake and Brienna

This is book is book 5 in the Pittsburgh Titian's series.
Although you don't need to read the first 5 I highly recommend it. Drake is single father and the new goalie. He has a chip on his shoulder after being let go from his former team and having his name drug through the mud by his ex wife who has a drug problem.
Brienne is the owner of the Titian's and Norcross enterprise. She is trying to rebuild the team after first one dried in crash that also took her brother former owner.
These two have a enemy to lover passion. Opposites attract. They both want no strings attached relationship. But soon it turns into more.
Brienne is powerful fe lame who knows what she wants but doesn't always take time to slow enjoy life. She is feeling her way throw making friends and allowing Drake in even if she didn't want to. Drake is also trying to juggle parenting, hockey and a lover. He also doesn't know if he wants to fall but sometimes you don't get a chance.
This story is written very well and has a HEA. I loved reading it and listening to it on Audible. Can not wait for next book in this series.
