About this listen

The winter field was planted, the seedstones buried to the depth of a woman's wrist. Any deeper and they might decline to sprout. Any shallower and....

Well. There were tales enough of that. Children stayed up all night for the terror of them.

Interesting idea and it leaves you wanting more which is what any good story should do

Great short story

I really enjoyed the story in this book and the way the author weaved the tale.

A Gem.

I know most folks gave it a bad review but I like the story for free anyway you couldn't beat it

Free short story not a novel

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The story was confusing at first, but made more sense as it went along. The narrator was excellent. I enjoyed the story.

Unique

I found this story to be vapid. It must have been intended as some kind of allegory. But I could find no redeeming value here. It was billed as a story about dragons. They appear for about 2 minutes in a senseless and pointless plot. To call it a novella is a bit of a stretch too. More like a short story with no obvious point.

A lot of words, but no substance

one new idea but the dialogue and character interactions are ham-handed and characters are unlikable.

uninterested

You can’t blame the entire fault of the story being bad on the person reading it because they didn’t have a very good material to start. The story is jumpy hard to follow doesn’t make a lot of sense and doesn’t seem to have a point. it’s horrible

Not well written and not much better read
