Die Geschichte des Amuletts ist ein Roman für Kinder, der 1906 von der englischen Autorin Edith Nesbit geschrieben wurde.
Es ist der letzte Teil einer Trilogie von Romanen, zu der auch Five Children and It (1902) und The Phoenix and the Carpet (1904) gehören. Darin begegnen die Kinder wieder dem Psammead - dem "Es" in Fünf Kinder und Es. Da es den Kindern jedoch keine Wünsche mehr erfüllt, ist seine Fähigkeit hauptsächlich in Bezug auf die andere Entdeckung der Kinder, das Amulett, beratend und folgt somit einer Formel, die in The Phoenix and the Carpet erfolgreich etabliert wurde.
