Great continuation with the members of the band

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This is a excellent band series. Simon is a manwhore until Margo (violin girl) comes into the picture. Just having Margo as part of this band, is awesome. Love some violin in rock and roll. Two very different personalities coming from two very different backgrounds. It was great, until the very end where the woman on woman was introduced. Not my turn on situation. Plus, this is definitely a cliffhanger. Now, I have to get the next book just to see how Margo and Simon's relationship continues. The narrators are excellent. Love anything they do. Great duo.

I WAS LOST IN OBLIVION OVER THIS HOT ROMANCE

I've loved all these sexy Rockers but Super Slut Simon is in a league of his own - because he wants to be good - to give it a try with Margo, wants a more meaningful relationship and wants to get over the constant faceless nameless women that desire nothing more than sex and bragging rights. But Margo keeps running away from him despite their hot sexual chemistry and intense sexual activities and it's frustrating the Hell out of him because he feels their connection and knows that this is different... and could lead to so much more.

All through Margo's family there's never been a successful partnership so she doesn't know how to handle the feelings she gets when she's around the super bad, super sexy and super charismatic Lead Singer of Oblivion. She's lived a sheltered life of a child prodigy - always being told what to do and what not to do by her cold hearted Mother which also included her many failings so she's shy, insecure and reserved. However, being around Oblivion and especially Simon awakens hidden talents, hidden desires, and hidden dreams.... but dare she take the risk and put her trust and her future in Simon... and in Oblivion? And how long will Simon remain interested in her?

This was everything that I expected and so so much more - intense feelings, hot sex, a God of a Rocker and an addictive push/pull relationship that frustrated the Hell out of me. I expected the cliffhanger ending because of the previous reviews and I'm looking forward to book 3.5. B U T I'm so sick of Authors/Publishers or whomever is responsible for continuing to break stories up like this - it's not necessary, it's not nice and it's not bloody appreciated. All through this (and many other) Series there have been .5 additions to incomplete stories - PLEASE PLEASE give us, your fans, WHOLE books that we can relish, enjoy and come away with that 'feel good' feeling instead of ripping us off and forcing us to spend more money if we want to hear how the story ends for characters we've grown to love.

Worth a credit? A very enjoyable story, great characters and the narration was great- so YES creditworthy.... I just wish I didn't have to use another one to hear the whole story.

Simon & Margo Rocked

Would you listen to Destroyed again? Why?

Yes, I would listen to this story again and again because Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott wrote an awesome story and series. I really enjoyed Simon and Margo's story and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross rocked as usual.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Even though Destroyed was Simon and Margo's story, my favorite of the series is Jazz. I just love her because she's been through so much in her young life but doesn't let things get her down. She loves and supports the people around her and her joy is infectious.

What about Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s performance did you like?

I just love the way they narrate the story and they bring different emotions and personality to each of the characters. They bring the story and characters to life for me.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene where Simon collapsed and chaos erupted around him.

Oblivion continues to Destroy me

Any additional comments?

I admit that I didn't want Simon's book next. I'm impatiently waiting to see Nick and Lila realize they have a serious love for each other. But that's not how these authors played it, so here I am listening to Simon Kagan.

And I'm not sad at all. Honestly. I don't know why I didn't want his book. He's the man-slut of the group. The sex is bound to be hot and heavy and dirrrrrty.

And it is.

Simon and Margot are complete opposites. But you know what they say about opposites. They definitely attract in this book.

And you want to see how quickly they come together. And how slowly. And you want to see all the moves Simon has at his disposal. For real. I don't even know why they cut this book into 9 hours (I listened to it) because I could have kept going (which I did with Consumed ).

Great Book

Would you consider the audio edition of Destroyed to be better than the print version?

Yes the audio version brings life to the characters.

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is just as good as all of their other performances. They are great narrators.

Destroyed by Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn was another great book in the series. I loved reading about Sion and Margo's journey to each other. This was a great book that left off on a huge cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Taryn and Cari have done such a great job with this series.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

First of all, I thoroughly enjoy the narrators - they are by far the best I've heard, and as a duo it makes the books they narrate much more enjoyable. This is another installment of the Oblivion series, which is funny, sexy, and erotic. We get to enjoy the characters from pervious books in addition to the main story line.

If you’ve listened to books by Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn before, how does this one compare?

This book is a good addition to the series - I wanted more on Margo. I am not sure I really care about Simon. I loved the first book the best. Harper and Deacon were just a big ole roller coaster ride. We got lots of back story with them. Margo's family is still a mystery, and I'm not as into Simon and Margo as I was for Harper and Deacon, and who doesn't love Pix (Gray not so much).

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Great performance - I truly love how this duo interacts - they weave the story together, unlike other duos - where the man reads the mans chapters and the woman narrates the females.Ross and Kennicott mix and mingle - If Pix is laughing when Deacon is talking, you get female laughter and male talking. Kai Kennicott's narration is my 2nd favorite male narrator. (My favorite is MacLeod Andrews)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't have an extreme reaction at all. Yes I got teary, but I feel I still dont know the characters well enough to care much about them. Yes I want to know where the Cliffhanger will lead.

3/4 of a story

Wow, no fair! I'm a fan of the Oblivion series but didn't appreciate the ending of Destroyed. This is 3/4 of a book. If you would like to know how this story turns out you will be forced to buy the next installment. Not cool.

Margo and Simon at last

The chemistry between these two characters was something else! the story was great, and the excitement of all that was going on with the tour felt real. However, I had trouble believing the male narrator's voice with what I thought Simon should sound like. The female narrator was on point.
Overall, I would recommend the book and the audio-book to anyone. Be aware...this does NOT read like a stand alone and there IS a cliffhanger at the end. you will want to have the companion book/audio-book at the ready by the end!
