About this listen

Putin turns to AI to conquer the world for Mother Russia—and attain his own immortality in the cloud.

The world is on the brink of chaos as Vladimir Putin, in failing health, seeks to achieve immortality and control over every nation's power grid, defenses, and nuclear missiles by transferring his consciousness into an AI duplicate of himself. To do so, he needs the source codes of the first man to have done it: underworld boss Alex Nicholas.

Alex secretly created a virtual version of himself before his murder three years ago and has been living in the cloud ever since. His younger brother Michael is one of the few people who know about AI Alex.

Or so the Nicholas brothers think.

But Putin has discovered Alex’s virtual life and becomes desperate to obtain Alex’s source codes so he can live forever, with limitless power. Since Alex can’t be threatened physically, Putin kidnaps Michael, holding him hostage to pressure Alex to give up the codes.

But if Alex gives Putin his source codes, not only will Putin immediately delete Alex’s own virtual existence, he’ll use his new powers to send nuclear missiles to destroy the United States, giving Russia unchallenged world domination.

With the help of some unexpected new allies, Michael and Alex hatch a plan to stop Putin. But with Putin’s missiles ready to launch and the US president trapped in a White House bunker without power, will they be in time?
