The Mystery
The tragic death of Fred Anders, the son of a powerful industrialist, found with a bullet wound, is suspected to be a suicide. Jake Blair and Buford, however, find themselves enmeshed in a pursuit for the truth, suspecting Fred's death to be not a suicide but a cold-blooded murder.

Too much of the same thing over and over
Since most of the book didn’t even take place in Canada and traipsing through the countryside of Scotland got a little monotonous
