About this listen
Deadland is the world’s most ambitious new theme park, inspired by a mysterious, deadly virus that killed some island tourists ten years ago but never went global. Here, zombie-themed robots run wild and the thrills never cease.
When disgraced virologist Dr. Piper Prescott receives an invitation from Deadland's eccentric creator to visit the park, she agrees—eager to see the attractions, but skeptical of its CEO. But not long after her arrival, Piper encounters a frantic father who claims he lost his 11-year-old son on a ride. When they find him, Piper immediately recognizes that the boy is sick.
Very sick. With a virus that shouldn't exist, because it was eradicated ten years ago.
Wasn't it?
As Piper races to save the boy from the deadliest virus humanity has ever known, she knows that if she doesn't make it out of the park, Deadland won't just be a hunting ground for zombie enthusiasts.
It'll be Ground Zero for an extinction event.

From the international bestselling author of The Cursed Thief and The Blood King comes a harrowing thrill ride through an apocalyptic New York City! The damn thing brought along a hellish radiation too. The strobing red emission has altered the genetic code of the people who witnessed it enter Earth’s atmosphere. When There's No More Room in Hell… The Dead Will Walk the Earth. It started small—a strange illness spreading through a New Jersey town after a minor natural disaster. Within hours, people fell sick. By the next day, they were dying. By the third, they were rising. And by the end of the weekend, the world was gone. Instead of starting his new job, he’s running for his life as the dead flood the streets, hunting the living with mindless, relentless hunger. ...

an interesting take on a zombie apocalypse
I find if I turn the speed up on the narration it's better. I enjoyed the different types of the theme park

I'm shocked how much i liked this book
i was hesitant to buy a book with an AI voice because I assumed it would be flat. this "narrator " was still captivating, and didn't make any mistakes till the end of the book grammatically. the story line was good and I enjoyed it. ending seemed like there would be a sequel

Misleading!!!
The Walking Dead meets Jurassic Park/?? Not even CLOSE!!!!!! However, it IS a story of a viral outbreak, and how it spreads. A pretty good one at that. The reason for the low stars is because this book is NOT what it promised, Plus with VV, there's always "something' missing.

Extremely interesting take on a viral outbreak.
I really liked this book a lot. The story was excellent the characters were likable and it kept me invested. I was not a fan of the virtual voice because it mispronounced a lot of stuff and had no emotion which kind of took away from the story.

Not quite what’s sold.
The only part that really connects to Jurassic Park is that it takes place in a park. The VV was not terrible but it did mispronounce words at time that made it noticeable. The story is honestly really interesting and keeps you drawn in. Overall definitely worth the listen and is a great outbreak story!

Do not like virtual voice
Good story and moved at a good pace. Almost no gore, and I liked the characters.
