About this listen
A group of Miami watch friends are bound for Europe by private jet for a boy's "luxury watch" tour. Unbeknownst to them, they have been targeted by a Las Vegas Crypto King and his ruthless henchmen who are tracking their every move using tomorrow's technology.
Roman "Blaze" McClain is hiding a secret—he's a former Special Forces operative and elite undercover bodyguard, hired to protect one individual on the plane. As the lines blur between hunter and prey, an adrenaline-fueled, high-stakes journey unfolds in J.W. Foster's debut novel Dead Beat Seconds.

Incredible story for a special time in wrist watch history.
We're living in a truly unique era, especially for wristwatch collectors and enthusiasts. The surge in watch popularity has sparked a demand for specialized content. Dead Beat Seconds fills this niche, catering to watch aficionados who crave more. This novel is perfect for those who love watches, cars, luxury lifestyles, and drama.

Great story for 1st time author
The story is pretty good and definitely if you’re into watches. The reader, however, makes this very difficult to follow. He adds unnatural sentence pauses which makes this borderline impossible to follow while driving, for me anyway. I would recommend the book, but maybe don’t listen to this while driving or pick up the paperback instead.

Watch Extravaganza
Good action, story. Enjoyed the unique watch theme. Too many distracting details that could have been more believable with a bit more research. Painfully amateurish descriptions of martial arts, chess.
