About this listen

Disaster strikes after an EMP disables the country’s power grid, disrupting communications, transportation, and essential utilities.

Thirty-six hours have passed since the EMP was detonated, and in that short amount of time, the nation has been transformed - the survivors of the initial attack scramble for food, water, and medical supplies. Ben Riker, a prepper and Lieutenant with the Asheville fire department, has managed to secure a new home to rebuild what his family had lost. But before they can start a new life, Ben must retrieve his daughter before the enemy finds her.

Great writing about an awful possibility. Really makes you think. Hope it never happens. Prepare for the worst pray for the best

Survival for those that hadn’t left the city when an EMP took out a grid and left the town to burn. Good post apocalyptic thriller that does not disappoint readers. Enjoyed the narration. Given audio for my voluntary review

not sure if its the person read out loud the book or the book itself but right at the start when the women begin to complain and what not, i half wished an actual EMP would hit my town so itd wipe this literature off of any device that has. the first one was okay but towards the end, especially when the young girl "got caught" by the young boy and how she began to orate her thoughts... i began praying for an EMP already then!!! better off finding another book.

couldn't even bother to finish
