In her last breath, she urges him to protect the father he’s never met.
Chase can’t turn to the police for help because they suspect him of killing his mother. He doesn’t stand a chance of convincing them. Not a chance. So he sets off to track down his father. Where has he been? Why does someone want to harm him? Soon Chases realizes his only chance of survival is to outwit the enemy before the enemy destroys them both.

Action packed with great narration!
The mystery and events had me hooked right from the beginning. The enthusiastic narration of Chase’s day was gripping. I felt as though chase himself was taking me throughout his past and what was unfolding present day. Couldn’t stop listening!

Fast-paced story
Fantastic story about Chase Day who thought himself an orphan till his mother, whom he thought died in a house fire, calls him. He rushes to her side to find her shot in the chest and dying. At first the police suspect him, but then he suspects them when one of the officers on the case try to break into the house he is staying in. He starts investing the final words his mother said to him and believes she was asking him to find and save his father. His father whom he never knew. As he follows the clues his mother left behind, a locket and a photo, he figures out who his father is, but he's not the only one looking for him. Two other people are searching, and Chase has to be careful, or he'll lead the enemy right to the father he never knew he had.
Loved this fast-paced story full of twists and turns.
