Common sense- but if only everyone read this book
The saying… Easier said than done comes to mind. It makes sense but is often hard to apply, especially when emotions are involved. I loved this book because it acknowledged that aspect of humans and made you feel “normal” for not inherently having these skills. Great read and I hope to make the seemingly hard easier.

Good content but audio is not the ideal medium for it.
This book probably works best with a hard copy to use as reference rather than audio only: too many concepts distilled over the ear that require further review, and audio is not the best medium for it.
Still I enjoyed the book and will probably get a physical copy.

Old Style Book with Little Insights
This book would be good for someone who chooses “silence or violence” when dealing with conflict. I choose neither. The examples felt very old school including men having affairs and a supervisor literally beating up his employee. Between the narrator’s voice, the stale content, and the constant use of “he or she”, it felt like I was listening to a conflict resolution book from the 1960s. There were some good examples but I would not have read the book had I known it would be this bad.
