A Dose Of Reality and Humor
Confessions of a Section 8 Landlord is both humorous and sobering. The stories of people living in affordable housing and how this landlord dealt with them were worth listening to. At times, it would be scary but rewarding in many ways. This is a worthwhile audiobook for anyone considering getting into rental properties, especially in challenging neighborhoods.

Really Entertaining Way to Learn About Section 8
This book offers a very really look into the world of renting to tenants using government assistance. The stories were entertaining, sad, jaw dropping and heart warming. Having gone through my own challenges at my own rental properties, I found this book really relatable and it taught me a lot about whether or not doing section 8 is for me or not.

Really interesting insights
I think book does a great job of providing perspective. It’s interesting to see section 8 housing from the perspective of a landlord. What do you do when people can’t pay their rent? How do you go about evictions? All of these things have more layers to them being in n section 8. Even if you’re not interested in real estate, you’ll still have plenty of good takeaways from this book.

Entertaining and Brutality Honest
The author doesn't sugarcoat the hard stuff, but she also shows that even in the chaos, there are lessons to be learned. Some of the stories though... At least it's not all doom and gloom, the author’s sense of humor had me laughing out loud at some of the ridiculous situations.

It’s real, it’s tough, and it’s full of lessons.
This audiobook is wild. The author doesn’t sugarcoat a thing—tenants pulling crazy stunts, dealing with squatters, and even running into gang issues. It’s tough, gritty, and full of lessons you won't find anywhere else. I love how real it is—if you're thinking about diving into low-income housing, this book shows you the ugly truth and the hard-earned wisdom. You’ll be entertained, but also a little scared about what you might get into. If you’re serious about this kind of investment, you need to hear it.

Raw and Riveting
The author’s candid and often humorous storytelling makes this an addictive listen, but it’s the sobering reality woven into each story that really hits home.
From laugh-out-loud moments about tenant antics to the nerve-wracking encounters with local gang leaders and squatters, the author doesn’t sugarcoat a thing. These are the stories you won’t hear at a real estate seminar, and that’s what makes this audiobook such a gem for anyone considering diving into the world of Section 8 housing.
