Essentials I had forgotten
I really enjoyed this audio book, and recommended it to my parents. I like the format, including scientific research, pertinent quotes from people famous for their wisdom, and takeaways ending each chapter. I had heard much of this information before and applied it throughout my life. When I go through life’s trials, I often stumble back into depressing thoughts. This book is full of lessons that remind me why life is beautiful and curiosity is so worthwhile. When I was young, I was passionate about choosing the less traveled road of humility, of listening, looking and questioning the status quo. I remember enjoying creativity for the sake of the process, rather than gaining recognition. I also love to share it, but only because I love bringing joy to others. Maybe that’s why teaching art has always been my passion.
