About this listen
We let insecurities dictate our lives. We allow it to control and consume us, leaving us wanting more yet never leaping. What if I tell you, leaping isn't as bad as you think. What if I tell you that opening your heart to something new can lead to great things?
Gemma is a fashion designer for curvy figures. Her creations are tailored to fit busts and rears that society turns a blind eye to. With fashion week in Paris fast approaching, she couldn't afford distractions. The only thing on the schedule consisted of work, coffee, and donuts. She kept to herself, had no friends, no hobbies, just her designs. The insecurities about her body kept her hidden behind fabrics. The irony of being curvy with insecurities, making designs for curvy women so they don't feel insecure.
Her world turned upside down when someone unexpectedly crashed into her path. Will he sew new threads into her seams or fray with his untold past?

Contemporary and entertaining
I grabbed this audiobook because yes I also like to snack on what makes me happy. The storytelling is high quality and contemporary, while the characters and dialogue are quite interesting. What an entertaining book!

entertaining
The heroine is very insecure and projects her feelings onto others constantly, which I found very distracting and demeaning. I wanted her to gain self confidence sooner, but it lasted the whole story long. The hero was very persistent in his affections regardless of the heroine's insecurities about body image. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Just not a me thing
I got this as a free code for a honest review. If you want a book we're the MMC is a 100% cin roll who brings her out of her shell this is it. It's cute sweet and easy to follow. The reason for the 3 stars is because I got tired of the self hatred. There wasn't much communication between the characters as to why their personality were the way they were. The narrator read at you and you could hear the clicks of her keyboard or a clicker that she uses. This book would make good pallet cleanser after a big series.
