About this listen

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends - I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd - but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I'd make my coworker fall for me.

I'd like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie's trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone. But I've never been good at giving up, and I don't plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

Contains mature themes.

The MQ universe is sooo good! I laughed and cried throughout this book. It’s lighthearted as well as deep and sad. Loved it so much! My heart went out to Sadie. She had a rough go of things but so grateful for Andrew and how he brought her back to life essentially. Helped her to anyways!

This was such a cute, goofy, and hilarious book. Its got all the classic Meghan Quinn humor mixed with some serious moments.

I felt so many emotions while listening to this. I laughed, I cried, and I even wanted to smack a few heads in rage!

I enjoyed this. I look forward to listening to the next one in the series!

Sweet like Ice Cream

Such a good book

The voices were terrible. They sounded too mature for the characters they were supposed to be.

not much.

I am writing this before I get to the end, but I have about 30 minutes left, so that I don't spoil it... But I really hope this isn't a HEA! Sadie doesn't deserve it with this guy. I hate her. She needs to get it together before going after anyone. why do these men like her? Really holding out hope that this embodies a literary fiction ending.

also the male narrator is bad.

idk about this one Megan.

I did enjoy this story as I tend to always like Meghan’s books but those narrators almost made this a DNF.

The female was somewhat ok but the male narrator was unbearable monatone and if I have to hear him say f**k one more time I would lose it. I can honestly say that I don’t want to listen to anymore of his books and I really hope that the other books in this series have different narrators or else it will surely be a DNF series.

Good story but those narrators🤮

The male narrator was such a distraction from the actual story. It sounded like a father figure narrating with the 20something. It was a struggle to finish it just because of him.

The male narrator was awful

The ending was clearly very rushed but overall pretty good. The characters were likable and the story was enjoyable.

Pretty good.

I think the story may have been cute, but the male narrator sounded like he was about to fall asleep with every word. The character was supposed to be this funny guy, but he sounded like his mother just died. I couldn't finish it.

Good Luck Getting Through The Narration

This book is about young adults that have endured already some rough times in life. I love male character and his persistence. There are quite many spicy scenes. Dialogues are fun and I liked the storyline.

Nice
