About this listen

Manger scenes. The baby Jesus. Mary. Joseph. Shepherds, Wise men, or Magi as some called them. Cows. A donkey. A dog. Angels. A star. One young shepherd boy who heard the angels and visited the blessed stable carved what he had seen (all except the angels that he had never been able to carve) and presented it to the Christ child. Through the years the crèche as some called it, was lost or misplaced or hidden. Legends grew up around it. Some said the baby Jesus had kissed it, thus passing some of his miraculous power into it. Rumor proclaimed that just by touching it to their lips a person could have eternal life.

Dawn and Stephen Nicholas wanted desperately to have children, but it was not to be. They decided to invest in a coffee shop in small, but growing and bustling Newnan, Georgia. It had been owned previously by a mysterious, often Santa Claus clad, figure named Ben Bishop who, it was rumored, had been a spy during World War II. Was it possible that during his travels he had somehow found out where the marvelous crèche was hidden and had been the last keeper of that secret?

In the reconstruction of their Christmas Coffee Shoppe, Dawn and Stephen stumbled onto something that surprised them and ultimately could change their lives. However, they soon discovered that the same spirit of the same evil King Herod that had massacred the children of Bethlehem in an effort to destroy the Christ child, was alive, was well, was in their town at Christmas and still wanted to destroy the Christ of Christmas.

Christmas Day finally arrived and with it came the conclusion of the 2000-year-old mystery in an amazing, angelic crescendo that would wake the whole town.

Christmas Crèche-endo is a mystery, action Christmas story that combines many of the elements that make Christmas special. At the end you may find yourself wishing that you could spend a Christmas like that in a town like Newnan. If you ever do, listen for the heavenly music of angels.
