About this listen
I know how bold that sounds. Trust me, I didn’t always see things this way. For years, I wrestled with the same doubts and fears that so many of us carry. I grew up surrounded by messages that said my body was something to hide, to be ashamed of, to keep covered at all costs. Even in church, where I should have felt the safest, I often heard more about what was “wrong” with our physical selves than about the beauty of being “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). The disconnect left me feeling like I could never truly embrace who God made me to be.
But then something incredible happened. Through prayer, study of Scripture, and a deeper walk with Jesus, I began to see the body—my body—the way God sees it. I realized that the shame we associate with our physical selves is not from God; it’s a result of sin and the brokenness of the world. And here’s the good news: Jesus came to set us free from that shame. He came so we could walk in freedom, clothed in His righteousness, not our guilt.
That’s where the journey into Christian naturism begins. It’s not about throwing off clothes for the sake of rebellion or attention. It’s about throwing off the chains of shame and reclaiming the purity, innocence, and joy that come from living fully in the light of Christ. It’s about living in a way that honors God with our whole selves—mind, spirit, and yes, even body.
In this book, we’re going to dive deep into what it means to live a Christ-centered life as a naturist. Along the way, I’ll share my own experiences—times of doubt, moments of transformation, and the joy I’ve found in embracing the freedom that comes from knowing who I am in Christ. We’ll explore what the Bible says about our bodies, how to navigate naturism with integrity and grace, and why this journey is about so much more than nudity. It’s about worship. It’s about healing. And most of all, it’s about freedom.
This book isn’t just for naturists, either. It’s for anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable in their own skin, anyone who has wrestled with shame, or anyone who has wondered if there’s a deeper way to live in connection with God and His creation. My prayer is that as you read, you’ll find hope, encouragement, and maybe even a new perspective on what it means to be “naked and unashamed” (Genesis 2:25) in the presence of your Creator.
So, let’s begin this journey together. Let’s strip away the lies we’ve believed about our bodies, clothe ourselves in God’s truth, and rediscover the joy of living fully in His love. Are you ready? Let’s go.
