About this listen
This is a 45-minute class created by yoga expert Amanda Latchmore for experienced yoga practitioners. Amanda guides you through pranayama, a dynamic Vinyasa Flow sequence, and backbends to energise and bring balance.
Drawing on over 35 years of yoga experience, Amanda Latchmore created the Chill Out Yoga series of classes as a safe and practical way to develop an on-going yoga practice. The clearly delivered audio instruction assists focus on the inner experience of practising the poses, rather than the outward focus of looking at a video. By maintaining a regular yoga practice, you will create the potential for life-long well-being in mind, body, and soul.
From Customer Reviews: 'Short enough to fit in between work and other things’…. 'The instructions are very concise and not too wordy'.... 'It's flexible and fits my timetable, my mood, my physical and mental ability on any day'…. 'This session has encouraged me to practice outside of my yoga classes'…. 'I love this yoga class. It's just the right length of time and feels safe'.

Any additional comments?
I wanted an audiobook class because I never remember what order to do the poses and I have a hard time going longer than 15 mins when I try to freestyle it. This class fit my needs but will not work for everyone. The session covers a lot of the basic poses- sun salutation, triangle pose, half moon pose, etc. There is nothing too advance here (like crow or hand stands); probably the most advance pose is the camel pose.
In my opinion you will need to have a semi-familiarity with poses based on the names. She goes into more detail on the less standard poses (like where to place the hand for reverse triangle) but generally you need to know what a pose looks like on your own.
Other points- the last 10 and half minutes are shavasana (corpse pose), which is more than I???m used to doing. It???s all a matter of opinion but the class can easily be made shorter (or feel shorter depending of on your view). Also, the teacher is straight to the point and avoids talking about harmony with your body or releasing toxins. For me that a plus but I know others might miss having that in their practice.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
