Great encouragement and empowerment for seniors!
"Chair Yoga for Seniors Over 60" by Elderwood Press is an outstanding audiobook that offers immense value to its target audience. Easy way to improve your health!
This book has a ton of great exercises that are easy to follow and integrate into your everyday life! Just by taking a few minutes a day you can improve your flexibility and strength, as well as your mental well-being. I like that it incorporates breathing exercises to reduce stress and increase mental clarity.

Very Beneficial!
It is very known that seniors over 60 start to decrease their percentage of muscle mass which affects them a lot, and thats why I think this audiobook is extremely beneficial to every senior because it would for sure increase their mobility and the quality of their life. Really recommended.

Thorough, Clear, and Inspiring!
This is a terrific book for seniors (and others!) who are looking to increase mobility and flexibility, improve balance and strength, and/or relieve pain. The book can be viewed as having three parts. First, the author explains the benefits of chair yoga, proper workout space and type of chair, the importance of warmup exercises, proper nutrition and hydration, and how to breathe properly and mindfully. These early chapters set the stage and inspire the listener to stay at it. Second, goal-specific routines are provided: flexibility, mobility, strength, balance (which involves much more than your legs and feet), and pain relief. The listener can try all of these routines or just the relevant ones. Third, the author provides a 30-day success plan, each with a warm-up and 10 to 15 minutes of exercises. This is a great way to stay committed, as you don’t need to figure out what to do each day, nor is the time commitment burdensome.
The routines are exceptionally well explained, such that the listener can engage in the exercises without a visual reference. The descriptions are clear, and the narrator models proper pacing and breathing. Also, she sometimes counts out the repetitions while other times she advises to pause the audiobook while you complete the repetitions. For visual learners, you can download a pdf with illustrations. Overall, the narrator is cheerful and encouraging, giving the feeling that the listener has a personal coach who wants to prime you for success.
