Bad or no editing
The lack of editing for quality affected my enjoyment of the book. Mispronouncing the names of Yeats and Donne, “casual” instead of “causal”, “booth” instead of “both” are just the errors that I remember. The reading intonation and expression were fine; good editing should have caught the mistakes.
Content of the book is really good and I enjoyed it, despite the distractions that happened throughout.

Words Matter
Listening to this recitation was a balm for my Spirit! Our lives are enriched by good communication, which can be transcendent silence, or fervent thanks. Lyrics take practice, but mere diligence won’t transform the prosaic into the poetry or prayer.
I’m grateful to be pointed to “My Word” on the BBC. Words need to be played with to truly appreciate our full potential.

Wonderful Listen, Tough Read
Would you consider the audio edition of Caring for Words in a Culture of Lies to be better than the print version?
Yes. I like books from Eerdmans. Friends recommended Caring for Words in a Culture of Lies. I tried to read it... twice. Tough sledding. I could not make it through. The audio version popped up a few days ago, and I gave it a try. I loved it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Caring for Words in a Culture of Lies?
For me, the pleasant experience of listening was the most memorable.
