About this listen

From New York Times bestselling author Brenda Jackson comes a new trilogy starring three Westmorelands… Years ago, Canyon Westmoreland let misunderstandings come between him and Keisha Ashford. But when Keisha returns to town with a two-year-old son, it's time to settle things once and for all. A blazing attraction still burns between them, and this time around, nothing will stop Canyon from claiming what is his—his woman and his child!©2013 Brenda Streater Jackson (P)2014 Recorded Books African American Contemporary Genre Fiction Multicultural Sagas

Hit Home!

This was very realistic to the way of the world today. It hit very close to home because I still don’t know who my birth father is and my mother would not put his name on the birth certificate and reading this was so wild! It's sad how we let our anger or thoughts make us do things out of emotions. But God can remove that anger. FORGIVENESS IS KEY!
I’m still hoping to meet my birth father one day so this story really touched my heart and I’m glad they were able to overcome everything.

It Also touched me deep because I’m the only child and my family is not close. I love the Westmorelands because of the big Family & the Lovr and support they give each other.

Good but a little annoying

Love this author but sometimes her female protagonists are extremely unreasonable. Im uncomfortable with the idea that difficult women are what men like, even if there’s truth to it...
Ps.
There’s an odd/scary plot twist in the last chapter of this book

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. It had love, suspense, and mystery. It touched on mental illness and it covered forgiveness of things you can control over and things you didn't have control over. the narrator was good and I have listened to other books by this narrator and enjoyed them. I was surprised this narrator was a great fit for this story and all the others. I like how this author writes and will be enjoying more of her books. I can't wait to read or listen to more of the Westmoreland ' s love stories. It would be nice to hear a history of the parents that started the Westmoreland clan.
