Story
The world has been indoctrinated with the false notion that narcissism is the result of a bad childhood. It’s as if narcissists have been granted immunity from responsibility. Mental health professionals - and the general public alike - seem more than willing to offer narcissists a perfectly convenient scapegoat: trauma. The goal of this book, using the most recent empirical evidence on the etiology and treatment of narcissistic personality disorder - is to dispel the widely held and already discredited myth that narcissism is the result of childhood trauma.

Narcissistic abuse creates a tidal wave of confusion, hypervigilance, and overthinking. You have trouble thinking clearly, remembering things, or taking in new information. And because these changes are happening to you, you begin to wonder: What's wrong with me? Why can't I make this relationship work? Am I fundamentally broken? And that's exactly how narcissistic abuse works—it happens so subtly that you believe the insecurities you're experiencing are "you" instead of "what's happening" to you. This audiobook covers unique information related to narcissistic abuse.

In this book, Bianca Toeps explains in great detail what life is like when you’re autistic. She does this by looking at what science says about autism (and why some theories can go straight in the trash), but also by telling her own story and interviewing other autistics.

The MANipulator manual. Keep your man interested and begging for more without playing games. So many women get in trouble in their love lives, and 99.9 percent of that trouble could have been avoided if they'd said "Well, f**k him!" a bit more often. Too many women are way too nice and compliant to their men, especially when these men don't deserve that kind of treatment. I, as a dating coach and author of books for women who want to get men, cannot take it anymore.

Hurtful criticism. Nasty "jokes". Angry outbursts for seemingly no reason. Verbal attacks toward your innocent comments. Stone-cold silent treatment. Manipulative actions to ensure you don't know if you're coming or going. Sound familiar? The phrase to summarize the above abhorrent treatment is narcissistic rage. The words "narcissistic" and "rage" are bad enough by themselves. When you merge them together, it becomes a force to be reckoned with; a volatile tornado that can emotionally destroy anything that dares enter its path.

Story
Narcissistic abuse creates a tidal wave of confusion, hypervigilance, and overthinking. You have trouble thinking clearly, remembering things, or taking in new information. And because these changes are happening to you, you begin to wonder: What's wrong with me? Why can't I make this relationship work? Am I fundamentally broken? And that's exactly how narcissistic abuse works—it happens so subtly that you believe the insecurities you're experiencing are "you" instead of "what's happening" to you. This audiobook covers unique information related to narcissistic abuse.

Truths about relationships with narcissists and anti-social personalities in relationships.
Another winner by Shahida Arabi! So helpful! Over the past four years I have dug in deep on the topic. I have learned so much from the best experts, including Shahida. This book helped me uncover more layers of abuse in a previous relationship that I didn’t recognize as abuse. One specifically is that triangulation can be intentional to cause jealousy. I never thought of it that way, but it totally makes sense to me now.

This book will emotionally punch you into reality
There aren’t a lot of books that cover this specific dynamic and as a DA survivor of a psychopath and the daughter of a covert narcissist it paints such a realistic, validating, albeit hard to swallow image of the life that I’ve experienced. There are some hard truths I am having to come to about the life I’ve lived but it genuinely is helping me remove my cognitive dissonance and see things for what they were. Im very impressed with the level of research and the depth of perspective that has been implemented into this book. Something I know I’ve struggled with and from what I’m seeing in this book is that so many others have also struggled with is understanding how I can hold such diametric views of someone and still convince myself of my connection to them when I knew I needed to escape. It does help me understand what I deserve but only because I am holding such a deep understanding of how dangerous it was to leave.. and that helps a lot. This book is definitely worth the read even after surviving a decade later. I recommend this if you are safe and able to consume this content.
