This is the future and we’re in!!
We found Brave Cities through following the work of the Surge Network in PHX/Tucson and the Tampa Underground network as well. My husband and I are making our way listening through the Grey Pages with Brave Cities podcast; and similarly to the podcast, the audiobook recording can be a bit rough around the edges at times while being 150% worth it. To many of us who love Jesus and yet have felt at odds with the systemic issues in “the church” for years, it is like hearing someone speak your language, inspire you and challenge you in equal measures and present a better way to explore. The book and the podcast cover similar ground, but it is good to listen to it intentionally laid out as the book does. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into the making of this book, the podcast and all of the work around the “kingdom ecosystems” the 2 highlight. Having grown up in STL area, I have an added layer of love for all of this. Sending love to all involved. I hope to be able to visit The Post this Summer and tell whomever I see there: “Well done!”

Refreshing
Taylor, Hugh and Jon are a breath of fresh air and a challenge to be different. To know the love and community the authors embody opens my mind to the endless possibilities for creating community, meeting needs, following your bliss and honoring differences to tap into the frequency of light and love that Jesus embodies. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in creating communities or just wanting to learn ways people choose to follow Jesus differently.
