About this listen
When the blood moon rises...so do the souls of the dead.
A few hauntings. No big deal, right?
What's the worst that can happen?
They might scare the crap out of you. You might need to change your bedsheets...
But ghosts can't really hurt people...
Or, can they?
Vampires don't have souls. They remain in possession of Baron Samedi... The ghosts have decided to fill the vacancy.
If we were being possessed by demons I'd know how to handle it.
But when vampires are being possessed by the warped souls of dead humans... who suddenly feel the power and craving of a vampire's nature... Not even the oldest of us can resist.
My magic is protecting me... for now... But I might be the only real vampire left. How do you exorcise a human spirit from a vampire's body?
Is it even possible?
If not, how do I go about trying to control or tame the bloodlust of a human soul in the driver's seat of some of the most ancient vampires around the world?
Bloody Moon is the eighth book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch. You've met Mercy before in The Legacy of a Vampire Witch and The Blood Witch Saga. She's fought against devils and demons, insidious witches, and old-world vampires. When she returns to Exeter, where she grew up as a girl, she'll find enemies even bigger and badder than anything she's ever faced before.
A great series for fans of the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse novels or the Underworld franchise to sink their fangs into. The Fury of a Vampire Witch features a dark and twisty romance, action that could even get a vampire's heart pumping, and a snarky badass heroine.

An enjoyable, unique 4 1/2 star read
Bloody Moon (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 8), my sixty-fifth read from author Theophilus Monroe. Theophilus Monroe & his cast of crazy characters has become one of my favorite paranormal reads. Another well written & enjoyable read, the eighth in his new Fury of a Vampire Witch series featuring Mercy Brown. I received a Kindle copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Bloody Fortune (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 9) when it's published in August, it's already on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Chinese Voodoo?
Mercy finds herself backed against the wall by possessed vamps. It's going to take some collaboration with the Voodoo queen to free her people. There is plenty of snark along this dangerous, adventure-filled ride. Absolutely love Kelley Hazen's narration.

Bloody Moon
Bloody Moon is the eighth book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch series by Theophilus Monroe and his imagination has no bounds! I love this series, love Mercy, her crazy crew and all the adventures that get thrust upon them. This is my favorite book of this series so far but then again; I absolutely love Theo's writing! Kelley Kazen seems to be a hit/miss narrator this book she does a decent job, so I enjoyed the experience.

Ghosts & Vampires
Book eight of "The Fury of a Vampire Witch" series was as entertaining as the other books in the series. Mercy's newest challenge involved ghosts possessing vampires, and when the ghosts went after her friends, Mercy had to take action. The author has continued to amaze and amuse me with the tribulations that Mercy has had to face throughout the series that featured her as the protagonist. Mercy has become one of my favorite fictional characters. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kelley Hazen's narration was fun, and her performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.
