About this listen

A dangerous bargain with a deadly vampire....

Facing a terminal diagnosis, Cora Shaw's only hope is a dangerous procedure offered by the mysterious billionaire Dorian Thorne. But she soon discovers that the cure comes at a terrible price: She is now eternally bound to an immortal vampire, her mind and body forever subject to his will.

All she ever wanted was to be rid of her cancer. But how can Cora break free from Dorian Thorne when everything in her wants to give herself to him, and when Dorian has sworn never to let her go? Through her new blood-bond, Cora is thrust into a world of great danger and strange powers.

Running for her life, she knows the only one who can save her is the one who will never set her free.

.where is the next one in the series..I don't get it

nice book

The author repeats herself A LOT. saying the same things with different words. Or it will say things like "she wanted this" / "she wanted that" and it just doesn't read great. there's also absolutely no reason for this to be a series. if you cut out all of the repetitive narration, this 1 book could have been an hour and the entire series could have been 1 book. The spice is also pretty mild and the vampire portion of the plot isn't great. personally, I wish I wasn't invested in watching this train wreck play out. I'm on book two, another unnecessary cliff hanger and I'm not sure I'll even get into the next book considering it drags on for something like 8 entire books. again, it could have been 1.

It's repetitive and unnecessarily short to make it a series
