Ellen Berg schreibt mit Leidenschaft (k)eine romantischen Komödien. Ihre Hauptfiguren sind Heldinnen des Alltags, die heftige Turbulenzen mit Herz und Verstand zu meistern wissen. So wie Maja, die einen Bio-Friseursalon mit besonders anspruchsvoller Kundschaft betreibt und sich ganz nebenbei um Teenagersohn Willi und ihre Auf-und-Ab-Beziehung kümmert. Und dann taucht auch noch Olga auf: Die blonde Sexbombe will unbedingt eine Ausbildung in Majas Salon machen, obwohl ihr das friseurhandwerkliche Talent nicht gerade in die Wiege gelegt wurde...
