A tale of cabin fever
This book is a journal of the mind for a young man in his early twenties taking a pause in life to live in a cabin in Montana. His writing reflects a slow blend of mild madness and truly reveals the essence of cabin fever. Days of adventure, goals, vivid dreams, longing for girls, and humorous activities. It's tailed off by a move to NYC to advance his drumming career and articulates the struggles of being a broke musician in a heavily populated and downtrodden section of Queens. Overall, it is a true escape from reality from start to finish.
Matthew S. Newbold reads this book with a fine knack for capturing the author's voice, his sentiments, and the ever-changing moods. An absolute must-listen.
