Great Read
Betray Me (Willow Heights Prep Academy: The Elite #2) was another great read by Serena. The Darling’s believe that they won against Crystal and her family. They treated Crystal like a dog and did everything they could to break her. Crystal will do anything to get her revenge. Crystal will never forget what Devlin did to her until she gets her revenge. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more in this series.

Sucks you in from beginning to end, need more!
I loved listening to this book! The narrator is great and has a perfect accent for what I imagine with the setting and characters. It really brings them to life. This story is dark and there is a lot going on in this installment of the series/story. I would highly recommend reading/listening to the first book before picking this one up. We get to see Crystal going through a crap ton of stuff but she refuses to break. She might let others believe she has but she won't give up on her brother and she is trying to figure out what is going on with her and Devlin and whether there is potentially something else there beyond the Darling Dog and being used to hurt her brothers. There is plenty of twists and turns in this story to keep you engaged and needing to know what is going to happen next and how things are going to turn out with everything. There are questions that are brought up regarding the characters and the secondary characters and it can be hard to know who is telling the truth and who has alternative motives. This story is dark and could have triggers for people. I highly enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next book to figure out exactly how everything is going to turn out.

So freaking good!
I'm dying here! That ending! I need the next book in the series on audio ASAP! This story is dark, gritty, delicious, and captivating. I'm transfixed with the way this narrator brings this story to life. The narrator takes on Devlin's perspective well when his parts pop up throughout. I was completely invested from beginning to end. This author has created a world that I can't get enough of. Just fantastic listen overall!

Attracted to bad boys.
I loved this second book in the Dark High School Bully series. Even tho Crystal is an idiot and the Darling cousins are the rottenest, cruelest guys still out of jail! How can anyone be so cruel? I was tracking with Crystal and her attraction to Devlin, because I, too, am attracted to "bad boys." But I have to warn you, these guys are way beyond bad!
I was given an Audible version of this book from Story Origin. This is my voluntary review.
The narrator does an excellent job performing these characters. Nice job.

Amazing, engrossing story!
Betray Me, an Audiobook by Selena is the totally engrossing story of Devlin and Crystal. This is book 2 of The Elite in the Willow Heights Prep Academy series. This story is sooooooooo freaking amazing!!! I couldn’t stop listening to this intensely personal, degrading story. Crystal’s strength and endurance are unparalleled! She has a fortitude that’s only seen in a tiny percentage of people. She’s a survivor. Devlin is torn by indecision, unexpected feelings, and loyalty. These opposing forces cannot be ignored or overridden….or can they??
This Audiobook was superbly narrated by Amanda L’Orien who beautifully and forcefully captures the emotional angst, trauma, and devastation of the characters. You can’t help but be drawn in by her intense performances of these unique characters!! Bravo!!!

Not a stand alone
Picks up from where the 1st leaves off and again ends in a cliffhanger. Uh! so many more twists and turns and honestly some of this is a little farfetched but that's what keeps you listening. again the narration is done well.

Glad this is not my high school
This book gave me the shivers. It starts where the last one left off. Royal has disappeared and though everyone knows the Darlings took him he can't be found. Crystal's life gets worse after her twin disappears. She is still constantly harassed by the Darling cousins and she can't figure out why Devlin still turns her on when he gets close. They have several more "close" encounters but everything comes to a head when Preston grabs Crystal and drags her into the boys locker room during football practice. That was awful and shouldn't be heard by anyone with attempted rape triggers. I am not going to tell you what happens next, but I wanted to just slap Crystal when she deleted the text messages and for her show of so-called family loyalty at the end. I sure hope the next book straightens things out. We do find out who orchestrates the Darling family actions, though we don't meet him.
