Story
Although small enough to be an island, Sicily is also large enough to be a continent and has at least two souls: a Western and an Eastern one. These two souls of Sicily are ancient, when the island was inhabited by the Elymians and the Sikani. This ancient "rivalry" continued with Phoenicians and Greeks, Romans and Carthaginians. A trip to Sicily, therefore, is not only a journey through the history, culture, gastronomy, and flavors of a rich and generous land, but it is also a profound journey into the human soul and into the history!

Awesome travel guide!
One of the best features of the book were the tips on the times of day to visit certain places. You’re in Beijing, on the day you visit the Forbidden City, start early in Jing Shan Park to get some great views of the city. This is what we did and when we were in the park it felt like we were the only people there. Later when we were down in the Forbidden City we could see the heights of the park in the distance and it looked overrun with people. I really can't say enough about this guide book. It was literally in my hand the entire trip.

Valuable listen!
Well, Beijing is on my bucket list! And this audiobook, Grizzly Publishing's Beijing in 72 Hours, is a great appetizer. Obviously, Beijing is a big place, and no one guide audiobook can cover everything. But being a seasoned traveler, I can recognize a valuable reference time, and this one is it.

Excellent!
. The book did very well covering what I needed and getting me around. I had bought it specifically for the laminated tear out of Beijing, which was really nice, especially for the subways. However, I ended up relying mostly on the GPS function of my smart phone to pinpoint exactly where I was. The book of course doesn't cover everything, so I supplemented with Lonely Planet's Discover China, which was also very good. Most importantly, both books are very good at preparing for the journey.

Extremely helpful
This audiobook makes me want to go to Beijing. The only reason I keep doing other places instead is because it's extremely difficult to get a self-drive car hire. I think this is partly Beijing's way of keeping tabs on you.

I travel quite a bit so I am familiar with most of the travel guides out there. After having browsed through several travel audiobooks, I found this audiobooks rose above the rest in terms of the information it provided and the way it was presented. I would highly recommend this guide to anyone traveling to Beijing. I used it in Beijing city and found it very useful and informative. Packed with all info you need from the survival guide on practical information to guided walking tours and in depth info on all the popular sites.

Great information for travelers
The guide has a brief background of China's history and culture; information about etiquette and important phrases; a traveler survival guide, and ton of other stuff. We really loved the four walking tours of the cities. They were super detailed and took you to a lot of awesome sights that you might not realize are so close together. The guide also gives outlines of three days in each city. The historical days were more interesting to us than the cultural ones but there is something for everyone.
