About this listen
Baghdad at Night is a first-person narrative seen through the eyes of an Airborne Infantry scout during 'The Surge' of 07-08 in central Baghdad. This book encompasses all facets of life in the modern Middle Eastern warzone. This story gives the listener an intimate view of the soldier's life, from the barracks to the battlefield.
Baghdad at Night focuses on squad dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and the true nature of combat and fear as they are experienced behind the buttstock of a rifle.

Military story
Dallas Pearce wrote a realistic story about how life was for the soldiers during the Iraq War. Jacob Lee did an amazing job on the narration. The story makes you feel like you’re listening to memories of a soldier when you’re in the same room. I did get the book for free for a honest review.

War
Great war book. Definitely worth the listen to understand what soldiers go through when overseas. Excellent book overall and the narrator does an excellent job.
