About this listen

Mascen Wade, star pitcher of the Aldridge University baseball team, is a lot of things.

Rich. Hotter than sin. The campus’ reigning bad boy.

We knew each other once upon a time, but even if I’m named after a princess, it doesn’t mean my life is a fairy tale. My plan is to keep my head down, get my degree, and leave this town. But the moment Mascen Wade recognizes me, all my carefully laid plans come crumbling down. He’s decided he wants to make my life a living hell, but I’m not so easy to push around. I won’t put up with his bully playground antics.

It's just too bad that I’ve never been able to resist him.

Highly rated for:

The Story Follows A New Adult Romance With Elements Of A Bully Romance And Enemies-to-lovers Trope. It Centers Around The Relationship Between A College Baseball Player And His Childhood Friend, Exploring Their Complicated Dynamic And Class Differences. While The Slow-burn Buildup And Angsty Narrative Are Praised, The Frustrating Hero, Lack Of Resolution, And Predictable Plot Are Criticized. The College/sports Setting And Heartwarming Moments Are Also Highlighted As Engaging Aspects Of The Storyline.

I’ve found a new favorite!

When I started this book, I was thinking it would just be a book to read between novels. Nope. That’s not what happened. I fell. I fell hard. Micalea Smeltzer’s writing style is out of this world and her characters???? STOLE MY HEART!

Do NOT miss this one! You will fall hard for beautifully chiseled characters. You will be enveloped in an angst filled, page turning story line.

Erin Mallon & Jacob Morgan brought Rory & Mascen to life in a fantastic way. Their voices nailed the characters beautifully and I was not bored by their narrations.

Five stars and two thumbs up for this amazing read! I can not wait to dive into Cole’s story next!

Super cute!

Got to love a college romance. Love this so much two characters who lose touch and find each other in college after she fools around with his friend. Loved the banter, loved how they found their way back to each other. I felt like I was back in college my self, lol Great narration by two of the best in the business.

Childhood friends to Lovers

Loved this journey of childhood friends to enemies to lovers. After a period of hate between the MCs they finally admit their attraction and rediscover their friendship.

Has enough steam 🔥🔥🔥 and plenty of one liners to keep the story rolling.

Great narration, as you always expect by Jacob Morgan and Erin Mallon!

New author for me. LOOOOVED THIS!! It's an "it's complicated" past friends to lovers college sports romance with a sassy h and a jerk H.

Great story little too long

First off Narrators Jacob Morgan is always amazing & Erin was great too.
The story was a really great story but more than half of the story out H/h wasn’t together like chapter 30 something. I listen while I’m working and it just too long for me for them to even get along. Then the ending was quick HEA. I liked how it ended. I just like my epilogues little longer.

college romance was okay

narrator's good. Mason poor rich boy everyone wants to be him or with him and he is so moody. I can't believe the girl liked him he boo hooed her when she was crying about her dad's suicide. so I didn't really like Mason and I can't remember the the main female's name I think it was Rory.

Loved it!🥰

I loved this one. It was easy to listen to but contained layers…depth. The character development was awesome & we get to enjoy more than just the main characters! I want to hear all of their stories! This was my first by this author but not my last.♥️

It's a spin off

of the Willow Creek books but this was my first one of this Author so its not a bad start but once I figured out the parents had a story I went to start that series before continuing on with this one. I wish there was a little more exploration of the relationship with his dad and roommate but overall it was a good listen and the narration was done well.
