Multiple mysteries with a twist
In BBQ Bones, by Kerry Costello, PI Frankie Armstrong is involved in finding a missing doctor and then gets pulled into a case of 2 skeletons found buried in his apartment complex. The cases span the past and present and seem to get much more complex. This is the 5th book in the series, but the first I’ve read. It’s not a problem reading it as a stand alone book. The narrator does a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Flabbergasted
Well. I'm almost stunned to silence after listening to this. I rooted for the two men to succeed because they had done the research and work with the extraction. I didn't like what the doctor did with his money and thought he was bound to lose it. Lucas was smarter and used his money well. I liked how things ended up. Con artists shouldn't win on someone else's sweat equity!!! A twisted adventure. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Gripping
I enjoyed my first novel by this author. The book is action-packed, fast-paced and gripping from page one. I enjoy listening to murder mysteries because there are unpredictable outcomes. Narrator Randy McCarten voiced the story well. My only criticism is Randy needing to work on a consistent and better British accent.

Informative and Suspenseful
BBQ Bones is a nicely written book that is both informative and full of suspense. The story contains a few mysteries from the past and present that may have something to do with the bones that were found. The author hits you with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. I do love the educational information that the author provides throughout the book about Florida's past. I will admit that at times, the story is a little long-winded and goes on a tangent that, in my opinion, detracts from the story. The book is interesting and unique. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.

Twisted Mystery over Years
There is actually a couple of Mysteries going on in this Book. The ones about the bones is the one referrd to in the title. It is interesting how information comes to the attention of Frank.
Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
