Today’s meditation on Psalm 2:1–3, titled “Nations Rage Against God’s Plan,” explores humanity’s tragic and futile rebellion against the Lord and His Anointed. The psalmist exposes the vain plots of rulers and nations who see God’s gracious rule as bondage to be broken. Yet no human scheme can overthrow Christ, the true King, whose reign is secure and eternal. Even in the face of violent opposition, God’s plan of salvation stands unshaken, fulfilled perfectly through Jesus’ death and resurrection. As believers, we find true freedom in God’s loving cords — His Word, forgiveness, and grace.
