June 23rd 2010, my life would never be the same again. My name is Lewis and at the age of 8 I was diagnosed with one of the rarest bone diseases on the planet. A few weeks on, I'd also be diagnosed with an ultra rare 1% bone cancer. Both conditions have no known cures. This is the 'Wheel' Story, a series of my life. Sharing my most vulnerable moments, hardest truths, and everything that’s shaped me into who I am today. By sharing my story I aim above all else to find people in similar shoes who can relate. My mental health has suffered the most because of the trails that have come with my disability and I don't wish for anyone else to feel alone in their fight.
