About this listen
Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust
DUST:
No one knew what was coming in the month of July. But in the months prior, Pastor Dan Sullivan is leading his first congregation in the quiet Chicago suburb of Fox Lake. Little did he know that burying his predecessor, Pastor Daniel McGregor, would be such an arduous task. The church had little money and finding it would be hard. Knowing this, Pastor Dan knew he would have to do some unscrupulous things. Meanwhile, the youngest member of the wealthiest family in the church weaves her way deep into Pastor Dan’s life. Making him question every decision and testing his faith. Good or bad, none of them had any idea that they would not see the fireworks of the coming holiday. But they did see the fireworks they were creating. A complex, interwoven maze of deceit, loyalty, and love. Sins were being committed just to bury one man. But all too soon the number of deaths would grow. Leaving it up to Pastor Dan to bury the evidence, and try to live as if nothing had ever happened on the quiet grounds of the church he was tasked to take care of.
ASHES:
Little did Jay Briggs know that the world was coming to a end when he set out to deliver ashes to the Saint Bedah Catholic Church in Fox Lake, Illinois. The fourth of July weekend was here and all he wanted to do was make this done and party. But the world had other designs as he was thrust into a new experience in delivering the dead to their final resting place. The only problem was escaping the quiet church and cemetery that suddenly turned a place of God to a house of horrors.
