About this listen

Sarah and Ginny have been best friends since school. They both had their share of adolescent problems but now things are working out for Sarah. She's met Tom. He's handsome, a journalist and totally devoted to her. Her TV reporting career is taking off. She and Tom have moved into a stunning inner-city apartment. But Ginny has not been so lucky. She wanted Tom, but she didn't get him. She wants the ease and grace with which Sarah lives her life. She wants what Sarah has. She wants it all. Ginny moves into an apartment overlooking Sarah and Tom's. She starts watching them. Then she does something more than just watch. And so the torment begins....

"Avieson offers an acute psychological study of obsessive behaviour...kind of kinky and deliciously unputdownable." ( The Canberra Times)
"A gripping read." ( The Herald Sun)
"With its snappy pace, this is...an excellent read." ( Marie Claire)

A creepy "friend" in love with your fiancé....she's willing to go too far to win him over. A little hard to believe at times, but that is part of the entertainment!!

Reminds me of SWF, set in Sydney...

The first 8 hours of this book were good but then the last 3 hrs, people started doing things that didn't make sense. I think the author could have done better to advance the story without making those plot decisions. Also, the story was at least 2 hrs too long. I was ready for her to wrap it up long before it ended. Overall it was a good book. I would recommended it.
