Surprisingly good!
I went into this not fully versed on what was going to happen. Just that it is a YA paranormal romance. Boy was I surprised at everything that happened in here. The building of these characters is well done with each having room for growth. Then the storyline was not what I was expecting. I really loved it and all that happened. It really kept me interested and glued to my headset. With that ending I am eagerly looking forward to what will happen in the next book!
I listened to this on audio. Todd Starr and Alexa Elmy are both new to me narrators. They really did a good job portraying these fine characters.

well this book was a bit Confusing. I might have to re-read/listen to this book again because I was so confused. I was lost but the little I got was pretty good. the narrator's were great though.

excellent... so much fun!!!
I'm very surprised there aren't more reviews for this book. It is excellent. The only thing I am upset about is that the other books aren't here and I would LOVE to listen to the next one.

I'm officially hooked...
This was intriguing from the start and before I even realized it, I was rather hooked into this world. It’s fast-paced and very immersive, with a ‘real world’ feel, yet still packs great world-building.
I love a wise-beyond-her-years, self-aware female lead—this one was very well done.
Plausibility was good for the most part.
Magic.
Fates.
Reapers.
Supernaturals.
YA / coming of age.
High school setting.
Secrets.
Mysteries.
Young love / slow-burn romance.
Betrayal.
Overall:
Great! Would read more from this author, both in and out of this world.

Angel of Fate
Angel of Fate is the first book in the Angels of New York State series. Zachary Jeffries is a new author to me. I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. I loved the chemistry between Makayla and Cain. I enjoyed the mix of Grim Reaper and the Fates. I can't wait for the series to continue.
Alexa Elmy and Todd Starr are also new narrators to me as well. They did an amazing job narrating this book.
