About this listen

If you liked David Baldacci, Dean Koontz, Kendra Elliot, Jeffery Deaver, and Jim Butcher... then you'll love Amnesia by Andy Holmes.

Agent 917 has no name. No past. Only a number. When he wakes, people die.

In a seedy motel room, an assassin awakens. A dime-sized implant pulses beneath his skull, unlocking violent instincts and a mission he didn’t choose. The man has no memory—just a number and a job to do.

Agent 917 is a ghost in the system, sent to eliminate evil at its source. His missions are simple:

  • Take down a sadistic surgeon preying on innocent families.
  • Hunt a kidnapper before the trail runs cold.
  • Infiltrate a satanic cult operating beneath the streets of New York City.
  • Stop a deranged arsonist from burning San Francisco to the ground.

But with each mission, the wall of artificial amnesia begins to crack. Visions of a past life bleed through. The Agency wants obedience, not questions—and 917 is starting to ask the wrong ones.

Packed with explosive action, sinister villains, and razor-wire tension, Amnesia launches a gripping new trilogy where the only thing more dangerous than the mission… is the man sent to complete it.

Perfect for fans of Jason Bourne, Jack Reacher, and Orphan X.

A Good Story Spoiled

The Virtual Voice detracted from an otherwise enjoyable story. Female voices are ignored throughout though there were numerous female characters.

excellent

I thought this short story was excellent. It had a captivating story line with a lot of suspense. The ending was soooo good.
I must say that I had a hard time accessing the review option. This is probably why there's no previous reviews.
