This kid crashes in alaska and has to wing it with just a backpack snow everywhere and a bald eagle for company! no joke the eagle’s his only buddy and the survival parts are rough! he’s freezing, starving and trying not to get eaten this reminded me of when i got stuck hiking in colorado and ran outta granola bars and cell signal. He keeps praying and somehow keeps it together which was wild to hear but also kinda uplifting without being preachy

A suspenseful read about survival and our human instinct to do whatever it takes to live. I think we all have worried about what happens if a plane crashes, and this is what happens to a child in the middle of the bitter Alaskan wilderness. I appreciate how we follow him along his journey as he tries to stay alive, praying and hoping that someone will find him. A great story overall.

My kids and I listened to this story on a roadtrip. It kept the kids entertained and wondering what would happen next. The narrator does a great job at reading and keeping the listener engaged. Highly recommend!
