About this listen

Fate made a mistake.

The woman who's soul glows for Tor...he can't have.

The attraction, the spark. It means nothing because she's already got a ring on her finger.

When tensions rise and the situation in Mystery, Alaska, spirals out of control, Tor won't be able to look the other way. He'll do anything to keep his mate safe...even if it he can never claim her as his own.

Dawn was looking for a fresh start in Mystery. Instead she finds herself in the middle of bloody turf war. She's dealing with a past she'd rather not talk about, but the sexy redheaded Tarzan-esque man who saved her from almost certain death by dumpster might just be able to pull down all those carefully constructed walls around her heart.

If she can live long enough to give him a chance, that is....

All's Were That Ends Were is the sixth book in the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska series. It’s a full-length, action-packed stand-alone fantasy paranormal tiger-shifter romance story featuring a strong human female who never gives up and a sweet-as-sugar alpha male tiger from another world with an inclination for licking things (he's a cat, y'all), protecting what's his, and fully satisfying his mate. Happily ever after and more guaranteed!

New beginnings and found family

I loved Tor and Dawn’s shifter-human fated mates instalove romance. It is a heartwarming, healing, and spicy story with real and relatable characters with the added twist of danger. Dawn is a human who just moved to small town Mystery, Alaska after inheriting her grandfather’s bar. Just coming out of a disastrous marriage, she is ready for a new start. Tor is a tiger shifter from Reylea. He arrived on earth through a magic portal while his world was collapsing. When Dawn is attacked outside her bar, Tor and Ryder come to her rescue. The moment Tor sees Dawn he recognizes the soul call shining from her and knows she’s his mate. But he also sees a wedding ring on her hand and believes fate has made a mistake. The journey to their HEA includes misunderstandings, danger, physiological and cultural differences, baggage unpacking, and life course realignment all while trying to combat outside forces trying to harm Dawn. The book was well written with three dimensional characters and good world building. This series is best read in order because while one couple’s story is concluded in each book, there is an overarching storyline that weaves the entire series together. I am looking forward to reading the next Reylean’s HEA.

Klaus Von Hohenloe did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.
