About this listen
2024 Readers' Favorite Award Winner
Is this book right for you? On the surface it's a short musical book that explores 5 philosophical thoughts. Imagine, then, that this is a painting hanging in a gallery, one you have seen before, and you are about to spend 20 minutes looking at in a new way.
The visual arts teach us to look for the image behind the image—not the tree without leaves—but the cutout left after the foreground is removed. I think that life’s key secrets are hidden from our minds in this way. All You'll Never Be: Because of Who You Are looks at reality through this reversed perspective, seeking to understand the backgrounds that often shadow our lives.
For the Audible edition, I wrote short musical melodies. For the Kindle and print editions, I created illustrations on every page. Both the songs and pictures aim to remind us of the "vital importance of being" light-hearted when we are most "earnest". (I'm borrowing from one of my favorite writers, Oscar Wilde, as you have guessed, I'm sure.)
I hope you choose to look at your reflection anew. It is a vital question relevant to every human: Am I seeing a transposed image when I contemplate my myself in the mirror of my aspirations and dreams?
Thank you for reading and listening,
E. L. Neve

Insight Into Living a Better Life
This book encourages listeners to accept who they are and who they are becoming without regard to the rest of society. I appreciate how the author not only makes suggestions, but also gives examples in everyday life that can connect to those theories. Many times instruction is given without any practical application. This is not the case in this book. The author offers advice but does not force ideas or life alterations. It is clear that the author cares about the readers and only desires to help their lives improve.
The author shows insight into life and helps the listeners understand they are unaware of much of what is happening around them and should open their eyes and minds to observation and acceptance.

Great audiobook
The audiobook "All You'll Never Be" on Audible by E. L. Neve is a remarkable and unparalleled experience that surpasses traditional audio storytelling. With eloquent narration, carefully chosen music, and powerful words, it took me on a deeply impactful and immersive journey. A Fun Musical Journey of Self-Discovery
E.L. Neve put a lot of thought and intention into this book. With the use of metaphors and images of nature, Neve explores how we humans think of ourselves and offers different perspectives we can explore in order to simplify our lives. The main messages of the book are philosophical and encouraging. I especially enjoyed the musical interludes, as it complemented the author’s message perfectly.

All You'll Never Be
E L Neve came to America from Ireland and brought all her father's books over. She has a love for reading them and writing her own melodies about what is already known in life but hadn't been expressed. A light hearted audible version.

Loved it
It was really a very intriguing thing to listen to. It really made me stop and think. Something that will raise your spirits if you're going through a bout of depression for sure. It'll make you feel good about yourself.
“Dedicate yourself to be the best within you”. I felt like that really spoke to me and its something I should try to repeat to myself often.

Beautiful Poetry and Music
I absolutely loved this book. The music is calming and works wonderfully for transitioning to the next section. The story is in poetry format. The author soothingly calms the reader into a state of peace while reflecting on all of life's possibilities as well as the beauty found in ones life as a result.

Become the You That You Are Meant to Be
I love that the chapters here are short because you can listen to them when you're on the go or even if you only have a few minutes at a time. You can listen to a single chapter and then come back to it later without feeling like you're stopping in the middle of something.
As for the content, you're going to love it. You learn about yourself and why you can become the type of person that you're meant to be. This book doesn't tell you how to become someone new and changing everything about yourself. Rather, it's about embracing the person in the mirror and loving yourself.

thought provoking and strong core message
The core message within the book is beautiful. You can feel the author's emotional connection to her words. I did find some of the more philosophical references hard to follow. I felt as though my mind had drifted off, wandering off into other thoughts. I would have to pause, go back, and re listen to parts. I do feel this is my personal preference and not everyone would find this to be true. Her music on the audiobook flowed beautifully with Her words. It was a great addition. The portion of thought two grabbed me most. The bit of the grasshopper reflecting and losing his ability to find joy in hopping because he can now be envious of others with so poignant and relevant to our world today. I received so many great things from this book, even though I had to listen to It twice. The message is so important and beautiful. I will take it with me and carry it from here on out.
